Because the OVPDEI Study Abroad Scholarship is not intended to pay for an entire study abroad program, students are encouraged to seek additional sources of funding. With all the scholarships and grants available to students, there’s no better place to look for financial aid than here at IU.
- Available to participants of IU-administered programs
- $500–$5,000 per student
- Scholarship awards are based on both financial and academic merit
- Available to students with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or major GPA of 3.7
- $300–$3,300 per student
- Available to participants of IU-administered and co-sponsored business programs
- $500–$1,500 per student
- Available to Liberal Arts and Management Program students
- Available to O'Neill graduate and undergraduate students.
- Must be full-time student status in the semester for which you are applying
- Enrolled in a credit-bearing service-learning course on the IUB campus
- Intended to support students who are participating in the School of Educational Global Gateway for Teachers Overseas Program
- Preference is given to female students who will be student teaching in Tanzania or India
- Must be a full-time Hoosier Presidential scholar
- $1,000 scholarship

- Must be a student in the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies
- Must be full-time student status n the School of Media

- Must be full-time student status the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering
