How did you decide which country/program to study abroad in?
I preferred a summer program where I would be able to improve my Spanish skills and finish my Spanish minor.
What were you excited about and/or nervous about before your program?
I was excited to meet other Spanish students and be immersed in the culture.
What was your favorite place that you traveled to or an activity you did while abroad?
I enjoyed the trip we took to Segovia.
Could you articulate one personal/professional/academic goal you achieved while abroad?
I highly improved my Spanish speaking and feel much more comfortable now using the language.
What advice would you like to give to future study abroad students?
College is such a perfect time to travel, and studying abroad is the perfect opportunity to explore the world while getting credits for it.
What do you wish you knew before you studied abroad?
I wish I knew more about how/what to pack since I had never traveled overseas before.
